Katwijk aan Zee is a cosy seaside resort for families and was originally a fishing village. The shopping centre with more than 150 shops is located by the sea. In the immediate vicinity of the house you will find various restaurants and in summer you can also have breakfast or dinner on the beach. From Katwijk it is possible to make beautiful bicycle tours on different routes, through the dunes, along the flower fields or the sights. 
You can rent bicycles from me at an affordable price.
There is also a subtropical swimming pool in Katwijk. The big cities like Leiden,
Delft, The Hague, Gouda, Amsterdam and Haarlem are within a radius of about 50 km.
In autumn and winter you are also welcome and can enjoy the wind on the beach.
In short, you will never be bored in Katwijk.
